[Almost as soon as the trial lets out, Tarrlok kind of... tears off to the kitchen, because he's mildly concerned that he's going to experience an adrenaline crash before he even starts cooking, and so he begins! He starts on some tea, marinating some beef for kebabs... but he feels like he's forgetting something...

[okay whew he makes it back to the kitchen. And so does Yuri at some point, actually! So... Tarrlok will be getting kebabs ready for everyone, since he was hungry for them, Yuri confirmed, and Cabanela said he'd have whatever he'd have. Speaking of, Cabanela shows up to make some chicken soup! And Yuri makes curry, teriyaki chicken, and steamed vegetables. So there's a little something for everyone. The food that gets put out isn't super fancy, but it's nice, and there's tea just like Elda wanted.

[ After hearing that speech, he'll be hanging around in the dining room and then elsewhere to grab the letters. Then, he'll eventually wander into the ballroom upon being drawn by the sound of that piano. ]

I understand. Today's been full of a lot of crap today - it's the same reason why I haven't read mine yet.

Considering that girl... I don't know what would infuriate me more, if that letter was clearly written in the last week, "just in case," or if it was written a week or two ago and is written from the perspective that she was the culprit. They both seem so likely to me.

[ she flicks at the letter, all but glaring at it. ]

They seem likely, though I think after we talked, the former seems a bit more likely than the latter there.

[ Yuri will just go ahead and lean against the piano. It's big enough anyway not to shift suddenly underneath his weight. ]

[ She asks, idly, starting to play some new tune ]

Not surprised, actually. I think most of us have, especially after we came to know other people pretty well. Just in case, it'd be considered a final 'goodbye' we wouldn't have had the chance to say if something had happened to us.

But we both know that's no longer an option now. It's just a matter of how soon we're going to be able to turn the tables on the bastard.

Sayaka had referred to Elda as her mother, and that was something he wouldn't forget. He watched the agitation seep in through her mannerisms and ... well. ]

You did pretty well against her, even against all that crap that had happened, by the way. I have n't seen many people manage to get it together after losing someone, even for a little bit, to manage something like that.

[ At least this man isn't trying to delude her. She digs her nails in a little harder but - no, no, just playing. ]

Seeing as we have meetings on Tuesday that's probably a good idea to come together as always to see if we've figured anything out new, and well, our plans to keep anyone really from killing. Just in case.

[ He heard Elda spout out some things during the whole ... Kyrie dilemma but there probably needs to be something more concrete to be done with that. ]

I'm wondering if we need a meeting before that, but you're right, doing it after his next incentive probably is going to happen either way.
