Week 8.
Regardless of what you think of the most recent deaths, four more people have died this week. Milla Maxwell, Angel, Susan Ashworth, and Aligula are gone now, leaving you with about a quarter of your original number. Thirty-five down to twelve - this can't keep going for much longer, can it? Is there anything you can do? Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Unlike the previous weeks, however, it seems that either you've reached the end of the line or Jericho has decided to stop rewarding you for your effort; where there would usually be a stairwell to a new floor, you're met with nothing but solid wall. Perhaps it's distressing; perhaps it's a good sign. Only time will tell, and time isn't something you have a lot of around here. |

[OOC: Welcome to week eight of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Hilda!]

[ She nods all the same though. But then laughs, ] Actually, it's likely unsuited for a bar too!
no subject
[...PROCEEDS TO HUFF.]
But I'm sure a pink bar would look wonderful! You'd just have to pick the proper shade for it!
no subject
[ She puts the bear under her arm to point the Syringe at Sayaka. Like it's a pointer??? ]
no subject
I-I hadn't--I hadn't actually thought of that, yet? I think I'd go with something flowery, though, something pretty...
no subject
[ A flowery bar... she nods. ]
I wonder if that can work in a bar...
no subject
[Hmm.]
It'd probably have to be incorporated carefully, but I think if there was a style like...the bar we have here, but with floral themeing, it could work!
no subject
[ She considers the girl again, and then setting the bear and syringe down, she reaches out to run her hand around the lower end of the bob cut. ]
no subject
...Thank you. I'm very glad to have your support--I promise I'll do everything I can to succeed.
no subject
She can't think like that, even if she's probably being a little delusional not to. She continues to brush the girl's hair, smiling. ]
To be kind to my granddaughter, too. You're a little bit her senior. And it seems she's still walking around in daylight.
no subject
[...wait, actually--]
She can still walk around in daylight, though...?
no subject
She can. I've likely told you so many disjointed things about her, but where she's ended up, as of my last memory I just got this week, is that she's still around in the daylight, still with that human boy of hers, and now hasn't gushed out blood for all those months I was gone punishing the Brownlicks. I've still those two years unaccounted for but she's...
[ God this still makes her feel sick, even if it should be less hard now, especially, ] basically human, now. Happy.
no subject
[...Sayaka can't help but purse her lips a bit at that--she knows that vampires and humans are different as night and day, and that something like that must not have come easily.]
Oh, Mom...I'm happy to hear that she seems to be happy, but that...that must not be easy for all of you.

no subject
Oh, Anju-chan...that sounds so horrible for both of them. [She's never had a little sister, but to have a wedge driven between them...] ...And things are still bad between vampires and humans, aren't they? So...her being with that boy she loves, that must be so...
[...She can't help but feel bad to hear that.]
Is...there anything I could do to help, possibly...?
no subject
[ you know, just to make sure that Sayaka has the right context. Elda knows her own hatreds might have rubbed off on the girl. Still, the older woman nods a little. Yes, that must be awful for Anju. It's awful for Elda too. As for Sayaka though.... ]
Like I said, you're her senior. Even after these two years I don't know, she'll only be eighteen. Just look after her. And that Kenta Usui boy, I suppose.
no subject
[You know, if she can help with that? Maybe there is something she can do. Either way, Sayaka nods her head.]
Of course--of course I'll look after them. I know they'll need help, and...I've been wanting to meet Karin-chan for a while, after all. And Usui-san must be a good person, too...I'll be sure to keep an eye on her. ...Oh, and keep her updated on whatever is happening with all of you, too! I'm sure that she'll want to hear a lot about you all, just to make sure you're all okay.
no subject
[ For now, in two years...? Well, of course she will. Even if se's a human in all but name now, apparently. She laughs a little boldly here. ]
I'm renting her out during the day.
no subject
[PROCEEDS TO...RUB THE BACK OF HER HEAD.]
I thought she was renting a place with Usui-san or something...
no subject
[ She pulls a hand back to her side and puts a hand on her hip. Huff. ]
I might have two more missing years, but I'm not gonna let that happen.
no subject
[Elda, she loves you dearly, but somehow she is not surprised.]
...I'll do everything I can to help her, though. I barely even know her, but...I want to see Karin-chan excel. It'll be like having a little sister!

Yes. I look forward to you meeting them, too, honestly. [ Elda plays with her hair a moment, seeming to think about what the best way to word this next thing might be. She in the end reaches down to take the bear, holding it closer to herself. ]
Ren and Calera especially might be difficult, but I know you'll be accepted. That's our home, you're going to.
no subject
[Sayaka can adapt well enough, but it's good to know who she'll need to keep an eye out on.]
...Tell me a little more about them? Maybe...what I can avoid doing, if they're set off easily.
no subject
[ A sage nod ]
As for Calera...
[ She trails off. Man, trying to be fair about Calera... ]
