Week 7.
Orihime Inoue, Estellise Sidos Heurassein, and Kirei Kotomine all died this past week. One of your Coordinators died as well, leaving you with a new face but still no end to this. Several of you are finding yourselves at a crossroads: either keep moving forward, or accept the inevitability of fate. It's your own choice, your own decision; no one's going to make it for you. Over half of you are gone now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, a new floor has been opened to you; unfortunately, either this is a particularly strange reward or Jericho is starting to get downright sarcastic. Perhaps there's something in it for you despite the setup; who knows, though there's really only one way to find out. |

[OOC: Welcome to week seven of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Hilda!]

[He'll humor Elda, though. He reaches down and picks up a few cards. Assuming that they are everyday playing cards, he ends up with a 9 of Hearts, a Jack of Clubs, and a 4 of Spades.]
Do you want more than three, or will this suffice?
no subject
(for this is a normal playing card deck! It's actually the old ratty one from the machine, marked up and scuffed in numerous places. She's realized that the marks and scuffs and folded corners actually are a way to count the deck.) ]
That first one's the nine of heats, to be sure.
no subject
Correct. Now how did you know that, I wonder? Well, how about this next one?
[The Jack of Clubs.]

[ Good, none of the marks to read are obscured when he held it out like that! Nailed it! ]

[There's a bit of disbelief in his tone now. Huh.]
Then the last?
[4 of Spades.]
no subject
Four... it's a four of...
[ Shit, his finger is in the way of the last corner... ]
... Cl-- spades? Probably spades, right?
[ It's a coin flip - clubs or spades. ]

Nicely done, Elda. I noticed that last one gave you some trouble, though.

[ She waves a hand dismissively at that!! ]

And when did you learn to do something like this, hm? Did someone else here teach you?
no subject
[ . . . The deck came pre-rigged she just dedicated several hours to memorizing the markings, basically.
Like she said, bored. ]

[He thinks he's figured it out at this point, but he's just curious to see how far Elda will go with her lie. It's fun.]

[ Shit just keep smiling. ]
But it's still one of many I have.
