trustfell | Week 7.

WEEK 7
Orihime Inoue, Estellise Sidos Heurassein, and Kirei Kotomine all died this past week. One of your Coordinators died as well, leaving you with a new face but still no end to this. Several of you are finding yourselves at a crossroads: either keep moving forward, or accept the inevitability of fate. It's your own choice, your own decision; no one's going to make it for you.

Over half of you are gone now.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, a new floor has been opened to you; unfortunately, either this is a particularly strange reward or Jericho is starting to get downright sarcastic. Perhaps there's something in it for you despite the setup; who knows, though there's really only one way to find out.

[ And for herself she'll pick out! The robber from Catan-alike. And then for the other person she picks out ... she's not sure what this is? It's like a yellow plastic griffon or something but it's small and crude so it's a little unclear. ]

[ She says this before she even draw it, but then plays it face-up to prove this to Rin ]

But maybe we should name them first.

[Okay then! She's not sure how Elda plans to incorporate the ten of diamonds here, but sure.]

What about Heart, Diamond, Club, Spade, and Wild? [Oh wait, she counts them off her fingers. They need one more.] And Marie Antoinette.

Oh, the spoiled queen? Sure, that sounds about right to me.

[ She only died like... honestly, shortly after Elda was born??? She's heard all sorts of stories about her, most of them bad, some of them good, so she lights up at the idea. ]

Good, then it's decided. And I'll be Diamond, of course!

Wild for me, I should think. I think the Queen is who our party is escorting.

[ She flicks the card, ]

[Rin draws a card herself, the Jack of Clubs.]

Ugh. And we're getting paid jack.

[ Elda bursts out laughing at that, flipping over her next card but not showing it to Rin. ]

Where do you think she's bound to?

All alone? Probably to visit a family member, or a secret rendezvous.

That second one, definitely. Probably even bringing them a cake.

Do you think it's an affair~?

I'm certain of it. But I doubt any of these sellswords know that.

Not even Spade? He seems so sharp.

They've got a suspicion, let's say. But he can't know all the intricacies of a maiden's heart. That's more the girls' job.

The Queen's going to open up to her sellswords? [Oh man.] She really should be paying us better. I would—I mean, Diamond would be tempted to sell that information if this wasn't a favor.

Oh, Diamond's way too obvious. No, her confidant is who you would least expect.

Well, Wild can be a little erratic! Besides, Heart's the most nosy one.

I wonder what their main risk is.

[ Oh fuck yes, assassins.

She's going to move their group up and put... some red Sorry pieces behind them ]

Let's use yellow instead. Those ones will blend right in with me.

[She's going to help exchange those out, but also throw in a chess piece to represent the witch. It's a black rook token.]

Assassins just seemed like they ought ot be more midnight colors is all.
