WEEK 5.

WEEK 5

Tabitha Smith, Sigrun Eide, and Solf J Kimblee are all dead. Regardless of what you think of the trial or the events leading up to it, there's no denying that you can feel the dent in your numbers now. After all, ten people are gone now.

It may be hard, but all you can do is keep going.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

What with Jericho's excitement at the last trial, it's evident now more than ever that the new floor that's opened up to you is a gift, a reward for a job well-done. Because while surviving is something that you'll continue to try to do of your own merit...well.

Let's say that he's so, so very proud of you.

this is the worst tag I've ever written

Ah! I really understand! Without the liquid, the salt is like when you leave a dog unattended and it climbs on the couch! Without its owner, it gets to go out of bounds!

[There's no helping her. That's not a good metaphor at all. But somehow, Hibiki can see it. The water is her leaving for work, and the crystals are her pets having mischievous G-rated adventures.]

And the colloid is sort of like...if there were a stepstool to the couch that Inumi could climb even though she's a St. Bernard and doesn't need one.

I laughed, oh my fucking god

[...WHAT DOES SHE EVEN SAY THAT. Eyebrow and the corners of her mouth twitching, Rin just keeps smiling.]

If... That helps you remember it, I guess? [Ahaha...] Though it's a little bit off. In your scenario, Inumi has a choice to stay on the floor or jump on the couch, right? This would be more like if you forgot to put her water bowl out and left the bathroom door open. If she was thirsty, she might try to drink out of the toilet.

[What has this conversation even turned into.]

Inumi doesn't drink out of the toilet, though. Nekokichi does because she likes the way the water swirls.

Either way, it's because they have nowhere else to go. Same as the salt.

Ah! You're right! I understand it all over again! I thought you were gonna lose me!

So long as you're understanding it's alright. N-No matter how weird it is...

[AND THAT'S THE MORAL OF THE STORY OF THIS THREAD.]
