WEEK 5.
Tabitha Smith, Sigrun Eide, and Solf J Kimblee are all dead. Regardless of what you think of the trial or the events leading up to it, there's no denying that you can feel the dent in your numbers now. After all, ten people are gone now. It may be hard, but all you can do is keep going. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... What with Jericho's excitement at the last trial, it's evident now more than ever that the new floor that's opened up to you is a gift, a reward for a job well-done. Because while surviving is something that you'll continue to try to do of your own merit...well. Let's say that he's so, so very proud of you. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 23 |

He takes a short glance over at Tarrlok before back down at his stuff and then at Aligula. ]

I'm not super surprised you both made good characters but... like... [ ....... ] Whatever, I can totally work with it! Okaaaay, Crow and Toah, Crow and Toah...
[ ...haha, reminds her of Krakatoa. Anyway, she's got that written down, hmm-hmm... ]
So! The two of you were assigned the same quest from the local quest-giving place. Adventurer's guild...? Yeah, that's what they're called. It's tooooo take out some totally evil merchant guy that's been laying on unfair taxes and wages on the people of his little part of the city. You've learned that there's a couple of leads to start sussing out just who this merchant is and how totally powerful he may or may not be, so let me know where you wanna start! Your choices aaaaaare...
[ A small drumroll on the table with her writing implement and her fingers. ]
A: A super seedy bar, where crooks and stuff hang out! B: The local brothel, which he's said to frequent! Ooor C: The guard, because police people always know junk. Soooo~ where to, boys?

Hmm. I'm curious about how much influence he has over the guard, so that might be a good place to start. Maybe one of them is having a crisis of conscience over how much they're being bribed.

I doubt any of them would be having a conflicted conscience over getting more money. I'd suggest going straight to the brothel to get some information. We might even be able to catch the guy.
